Press cuttings - how the club has been featured in the press over the years

The 50th anniversary of the club opening on it's present site was well reported in the local press - this item is from the Braintree and Witham Times

At the 50th Anniversary celebrations in May 1980 , Maurice Rowson was presented with a decanter for services to the club - this was reported in the local press but the identity of the publisher is unknown

more recently , in 2006 the club held an open dayand this was reported in the Braintree and Witham Times on 4th May

 

One of the club's annual tournaments was reported on 26th July 2006 - unfortunately Chirs McLeod's name was incorrectly spelt by Andrew Goldsmith when the article was submitted

by the 23rd August however Andrew had learnt the correct spelling and Chris's second success of the year was more accurately reported in the Braintree and Witham Times

And three weeks further on the club championship finals received press coverage in the Braintree and Witham Times

the first report of 2007, on 6th June the Braintree & Witham Times reported on the early season events

on 5th September 2007 the Braintree & Witham Times carried a report and photo of thee the club championships finals day
