Information about Gosfield Lawn Tennis Club

Gosfield Lawn Tennis Club is located in the village of Gosfield about 3 miles north of Braintree in Essex on the A.131, the club is signposted on the road into the village ( Braintree Road ),

The club has four hard courts two of which are newly laid and were officially opened at the start of the 2010 season ( see the news page for photographs).

The club enters mens' and ladies' teams in local leagues during the summer and has regular club nights every Friday evening during the summer months.

We are currently offering coaching sessions for all ages and standards, click here for info

The club has over 40 members of all ages and standards and holds various competitions during the year - visit the Calendar page to see the details. We also currently have regular coaching for adults on tuesday evenings from 6.30 to 8.30 and our new junior coaching programme is currently being finalised with a starting date of 11th July

The club was formed in 1919 and moved to it's present site in 1930, visit the history page to read the story of Gosfield Lawn Tennis club from it's beginning to the present day
